Sr DevOps Engineer - Islamabad - Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for software applications using Azure DevOps and other relevant tools.
• Manage Azure/GIT Repos, ensuring efficient source code management and branch strategies.
• Administer Windows IIS and Linux servers, managing web applications, APIs, and directory structures.
• Oversee and manage SQL Server database deployments, including DACPAC releases through Azure DevOps, ensuring high standards of performance and reliability.
• Liaise with software development teams to ensure operational requirements are met for all deployments, releases, and database operations.
• Document all operational processes and compliance activities.
• Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures which enhance deployment strategies and operational management.
• Explore and integrate advanced AI-driven development tools to enhance code quality and reduce manual coding efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD methodologies, and source code management.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server management, including installation, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with T-SQL, including writing and optimizing queries, and managing complex database operations.
• Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures which enhance deployment strategies and operational management.
• Experience managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
• Familiarity with script writing and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures which enhance deployment strategies and operational management.
• Familiarity with General AI services such as Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, and Amazon CodeWhisper, aimed at boosting developer productivity and enhancing code quality.

Preferred:

· Certifications in Azure, AWS, DevOps practices, or SQL Server, demonstrating a professional commitment to mastering these technologies.

· Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures which enhance deployment strategies and operational management.

Location: Islamabad - Onsite

Salary: Market Competitive

Timings: Core Hours: 10:30AM to 07:00PM

Working Hours: Minimum of 8 hours per day
