Software Engineer Team Lead (PHP)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP Developer (TeamLead) with a focus on the Laravel framework to join our dynamic team. As a PHP Developer at Code District, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the performance, security, and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, as well as identify and address bottlenecks.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in web development.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to meet project milestones.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Core PHP & Laravel.
• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of the Laravel ecosystem and tools.
• Basic experience with React.js, including state management with Redux.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating them with front-end applications.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming in PHP.
• Familiar with APIs & Cloud Functions
• MSSQL profiling and query optimization
• Ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Open-minded to new solutions, forward-thinking, and strong ability to adapt.
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
