PROFILE:
You have a Master’s degree from an Engineering University (Aeronautical/Space Engineering, Computer Science…), and you have significant experience in your field
You want to oversee systems-related activities and be plunged into a challenging environment
You want to teach innovative methods and help the team evaluate the pros and cons of solution options prior to system development
You are an effective communicator (especially in case of conflict)
You are recognised as a team-player and enjoy collaborative work
You have a good technological culture
You are convincing and persuasive
You are resourceful and structured
You are dynamic and meticulous
COMPETENCIES:
You have a deep understanding of Systems engineering processes, methods and tools, which includes the notions mentioned below:
You have the ability to adopt a holistic approach to analyse a system, focusing on the way that a system’s constituent parts interrelate and how systems work over time and within the context of larger systems
You understand the importance of requirements definition through a process using performance analysis, trade studies, constraint evaluation and cost/benefit analysis
You are able to adopt a Model Based Systems Engineering and see how it serves as a basis for architecture
You have notions of IVVQ (Integration/Verification/Validation/Qualification), R-A-M-T (Reliability/Maintainability/Availability/Testability) and associated norms & standards
You are very familiar with System Architecting requirements and associated notions, methods & process:
Architecture Vision, Operational Architecture, System Architecture, Technical Architecture, Opportunities & Solutions, Migration Planning, Implementation Governance, Architecture Change Management
You have already used Systems engineering workbenches within an operational context
You are recognised for you knowledge of associated processes, methods and tools
You have good problem-solving skills
You have an ability to train and coach engineers in your responsibility scope
You have knowledge in Software development and digital transformation
You are able to move forward in changing environments

As a System Processes, Methods and Tools Support Role within Thales, you will:
Provide System engineers and project managers with advice on engineering environment and configure workbenches for System projects
Train and coach engineers on System engineering tooled-up processes and methods
Manage incidents and service requests raised by System engineers
Support data migration strategy for System engineering workbenches and take into account data structure
Contribute to the capitalisation and continuous improvement of System best practices and service offers (training sessions, guidelines, user manuals, …)
Share with Thales Corporate Engineering the feedback collected from System engineers in order to participate in the definition of future standard Thales tooled-up solutions
