At Aspire Academy, we develop well-educated sports champions. We foster Qatar society by realizing a healthy, active lifestyle. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our brand identity through visually compelling design. 

You are conceptualizing and designing a wide range of materials, from digital assets and social media graphics to print collateral and promotional materials. Reporting directly to the Marketing & Branding Supervisor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate marketing objectives into creative solutions that resonate with our target audience.

 What will you do - main responsibilities: 

• Conceptualize and produce a wide range of design materials, including but not limited to digital assets, social media graphics, print collateral, presentations, and promotional materials. 
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Aspire Academy's visual identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all design projects. 
• Design electronic and printed materials for exhibits, displays, publications, marketing materials, web sites, and other channels. 
• Create and produce JPEGs, PDFs, videos, clip art, graphs, charts, thumbnail images, and other design elements. 
• Assist in the development of presentations for potential sponsors, partners, and commercial opportunities. Create visually compelling graphics to illustrate sponsorship impressions and enhance the overall presentation impact. 
• Create electronic page layouts using publishing software (e.g. Quark Xpress, Frame Maker, etc.). 
• Conceptualize and design flyers, advertisements, brochures, logos, signage, and other exhibits/displays. 
• Support in the planning of production schedules and workflow for the entire design process. 
• Integrate multimedia concepts with technical graphic design elements, as appropriate. 
• Develop specifications and standards for printing and other production. 
• Support in identifying, sourcing, and selecting vendors / service providers for printing and publication services, as necessary (e.g. illustrators, printers, typesetters, photographers, etc.). 
• Select the appropriate media and materials (e.g. paper, ink, etc.) 
• Inspect proofs for accuracy and adherence to corporate standards. 
• Provides technical graphics assistance to production personnel, content authors, publishers, clients, and/or vendors/service providers. 
• Coordinate and maintain a library of graphics, media, digital records, and other enterprise content. 
• Where necessary, write and edit marketing copy, Web copy, etc. 
• Understand and evaluate design needs and use conceived ideas and concepts to generate creative and innovative ideas for all Aspire Academy design requirements. 
• Develop collaterals, advertising campaigns, banners, posters, promotional items, office branding, and event & exhibition branding. 
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetical design concepts. 
• Define design criteria in keeping with existing brand guidelines including concept and direction 
• Operate PC and Mac to develop a variety of graphic design requirements including corporate stationery and signage, desktop publishing and layout, production, illustration, and pre-press file preparation. 
• Develop concepts and design all Aspire Academy collateral materials, including ads, newsletters, flyers, and invitations as needed. 

Qualifications and requirements: 
  

• 4-6 years of related experience of which a minimum of 2 years should be in a similar position/responsibility, preferably in a similar industry. 
• Fluent in English (additional languages such as Arabic is a plus) 
• Portfolio of completed design projects.  
• Good understanding of sports industry. 
• A bachelor's degree from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field. Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent 
• An interest & awareness of current design trends. 
• Knowledge of Aspire Academy.  
• Worked within an office environment or equivalent. 
• Comfortable with Creative Suite, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.  
• Must be able to deliver when faced with tight deadlines and constraints. 
• Ability to organize and work independently.  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.  
• Proficient in MacOS.  
• Person will be willing to expand on design skills and formalize skills where necessary. 
• Excellent communication skills and works effectively with people from all backgrounds and cultures and demonstrates flexibility. 
• Can effectively reorganize activities when faced with changing contexts and demands. 
• Strong decision-making skills, quick thinking, intelligence, and articulation. 
• Attention to visual details. 
• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team. 
• Creative with the ability to make designs from the scratch. 
• Have good knowledge of corporate branding, digital media, and color theory.
