With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned Lifeguard/Pool Attendant with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.
Just a stone’s throw from the many favourite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Maintain responsibility for cleanliness of swimming pool (Vacuuming and Scrubbing) and immediate surrounds Maintain responsibility for cleanliness garden areas (planters base) Maintain pool cleaning equipment are in good condition, reporting problems to maintenance when needed Greet and escort guests to lounge chairs and present towels Maintain current First Aid and CPR qualifications Prioritise guests safety Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel’s emergency response procedures, particularly in the event of drowning, cyclones, storms Supervise children’s swimming activities during the peak season and maintain a watchful eye of guest safety Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements.
What we need from you
Good level of spoken/written English Flexibility in shifts & tasks
Minimum one year of experience in a similar environment (4-5
hotel)
Certificate in First Aid License as a lifeguard
