Job Description

  1. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for our fleet vehicles, including regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
  2. Coordinate with maintenance technicians, vendors, and suppliers to schedule and execute maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
  3. Monitor and track maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, parts inventory, and costs.
  4. Conduct regular audits and inspections of fleet vehicles to identify maintenance needs, safety issues, and compliance with regulations.
  5. Ensure adherence to maintenance schedules, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements for fleet operations.
  6. Collaborate with fleet managers and other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs and vehicle usage.
  7. Analyze maintenance data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in fleet performance and cost-efficiency.
  8. Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper procedures, safety practices, and equipment usage.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to maintenance activities, inspections, and vehicle histories.


Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree automotive Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  2. Proven experience in fleet maintenance management, preferably in a transportation or logistics industry.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  4. Familiarity with fleet management software and systems for maintenance tracking, scheduling, and reporting.
  5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  7. Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  8. Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in fleet maintenance operations.
  9. Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for on-site inspections and meetings.
