MEP Engineer

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As an MEP Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in our projects. Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will ensure the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop MEP design plans and specifications.
2. Review and evaluate MEP shop drawings and equipment submittals for compliance with design plans and specifications.
3. Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budget.
4. Conduct site visits to monitor the progress of MEP installations, identify and resolve any issues or conflicts.
5. Perform calculations and analysis to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of MEP systems.
6. Coordinate with utility companies to ensure the availability of necessary services for MEP systems.
7. Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, reports, and project records.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and regulations related to MEP systems.
9. Provide technical assistance and guidance to project teams and contractors.
10. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations.
4. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
10. Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
