Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for Special and Normal Capex installation project management. During Project Development, he/she supports the Business Development Manager and the Project Development team, by proposing a competitive solution and planning an appropriate project strategy in all aspects: risk register, capex, technical integrity.
  • Responsible for the Project Execution phase, aiming at ensuring excellence in successful investment delivery and commitment. Will operate the installation on project completion and assumes
  • the specific responsibilities of the Facility Manager as needed up to his/her appointment.




KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

During Project development phase:

  • Support the Business Development Manager to develop the best economical & technical solution adapted to the final customer requirements
  • Work in close relationship with internal stakeholders by gathering, validating and incorporating local information, procedures, requirements necessary for installation (land, utilities, funding...) to be fully integrated into the project definition, scope and execution
  • Ensure that the project definition & design basis comply with all such local specifications and industrial risk studies (e.g. PRIs, PRAs, HSE and process risk assessments) related to installation projects are performed and reviewed.
  • Ensure that required design reviews, verifications and validations are performed.
  • Interface with E&C / CI team to evaluate overall performance of the project (budget, planning, scope, final technical solution, project decision process and project notes preparation ...)
  • Coordinate overall project strategy and risks evaluation and be force of proposition to mitigate risks
  • Ensure technical integrity of the proposal and consistency between the commercial & contractual offer and the different project Stakeholders
  • Participate in negotiation and challenge all the stakeholders to ensure the best competitiveness

During Project execution phase:

  • Manage the Project Execution with Excellence with proper organization and resource management (e.g. people, budget) in such a way that projects are completed within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
  • Ensure overall performances, as defined during the Handover (Technical Performances, Capex, budget, schedule, Scope, Risks) Contract, manage and challenge external/internal suppliers, including E&C.
  • Coordinate interactions between different stakeholders to ensure the overall Quality and Integrity of the Plant from Handover by E&C up to the transfer to Operations
  • Insure Excellence in Construction & Pre-commissioning
  • Manage Changes and support the Accountable Person for final customers negotiation
  • Manage the Change Management process (as applicable) and follow risks and mitigation plan Monitor and evaluate the process effectiveness and conduct capitalization for each project in order to determine and implement improvement actions if necessary
  • Ensure project KPIs, data and information related to the project performance are collected.
