Senior SAP MM Functional Consultant
12 months -  Fixed Term contract 
Based: Qatar 
Position Overview:
As a Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in both the SAP MM and SD modules to optimize our clients' procurement, inventory management, and sales distribution processes. Your role will involve analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, configuring SAP systems, and providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure the smooth functioning of both MM and SD modules.
Key Responsibilities:

Client Collaboration:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM and SD solutions.
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions and create functional specifications for both modules.

SAP Configuration and Customization:

• Configure SAP MM module settings to meet client needs, including master data, procurement, inventory management, release strategy, and invoice verification.
• Configure SAP SD module settings, including sales order processing, pricing, billing, credit management, and shipping.
• Customize solutions to integrate with other SAP modules and external systems as required.

Functional Expertise:

• Provide expertise in SAP MM functionalities such as material master data, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, and invoice verification.
• Provide expertise in SAP SD functionalities such as customer master data, sales order creation, delivery processing, pricing, billing, and credit management.
• Conduct end-user training sessions and provide ongoing support to resolve issues and optimize system performance in both MM and SD areas.

Integration and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MM and SD processes with other business processes and SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO).
• Coordinate with technical teams to implement solutions and resolve any integration issues.

Continuous Improvement and Support:

• Provide day-to-day support for SAP MM and SD modules, addressing user queries and system issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions for recurring issues in both modules.
• Ensure system stability and performance by applying patches, upgrades, and enhancements as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and user guides for MM and SD modules.
• Develop and generate regular reports and analytics to support business decision-making in procurement, inventory, and sales distribution.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work closely with business stakeholders, including procurement, sales, and finance teams, to understand their requirements and provide suitable SAP solutions.
• Act as a liaison between the IT department and business units to ensure effective communication and understanding of business needs.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in SAP MM and SD modules.
• Proven experience in full-cycle SAP implementations and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of business processes in materials management and sales distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• SAP certification in MM and/or SD is a plus.
