Technical Sales Support Engineer

Are you the new Technical Sales Support Engineer team player we are looking for?

We are looking for a Technical Sales Support Engineer to join our team based in Qatar. In this role, you will focus and drive growth of Valmet Flow Control products and services across the assigned market area of Qatar and Kuwait.
You will form and maintain business relationships with Customers, Partners and Suppliers that deliver long term growth for the business.

In detail, your activities include:

• Technical review of enquiry documents and prepare quotation/proposals by selecting the appropriate products meeting customer requirements in line with Valmet Flow Control’s commercial terms and conditions and pricing strategies.
• Attend all post quotation queries / revisions and follow-up of the quotations submitted.
• Upon order receipt, reviewing the same with our proposals and check for any discrepancies to avoid post order issues.
• Placing orders to factories and liaise with the sales secretary & factories for on time delivery.
• Prepare order documentations as per customer purchase order requirements.
• Updating the project information.
• Always adhere to Valmet Flow Control’s Ethical values.
• Follow and adhere to Valmet Flow Control’s HSE guidelines and procedures.

What you will need to be successful in the role:

• BSc/MSc Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Instrumentation.
• At least 7 years' experience in engineering roles and at least 5 years’ experience in quotation and commercial applications to support sales.
• Ability to stay focused and organized.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a matrix organization.
