Job Description
The role holder is responsible to keep custody of laboratory equipment, tools and materials. Ensure safety and hygiene of the laboratory and operations as well as Prepare laboratory practical training materials, equipment/ operations and tools. Prepare and conduct laboratory training practical lessons, support the lecturers to conduct continuous assessment and perform any other official duties assigned by relevant authorities. Maintain related test equipment, tools and machinery in good working condition and ensure proper power supply for all machinery in the laboratory.
Core Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of preventative maintenance, routine maintenance, and servicing of the equipment.
- Responds to emergencies regarding system failures, or other problems; evaluates situation and performs necessary repairs.
- Operates and checks equipment, instruments, meters, and other apparatuses; operates to control and adjust the operation process.
- Calibrates, modifies, or repairs instrumentation and control equipment including recorders, flow-meter and other quality monitoring equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement section on securing and maintain the ISO / Risk Management / ISMS certification.
- Carries out and ensures the compliance of all activities within the Department are in-line with Kahramaa health and safety regulations.
RequirementsCandidate should be holder of:
- An Ordinary Diploma in electrical engineering.
- Possession of a higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical is of added advantage.
The candidate should be an English speaker & writer with Arabic language preferable
At least 2 years related experience.
