Role: 4D BIM Specialist
We are currently looking for a number of 4D BIM Specialist with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.
Qualifications And Technical Competencies
Experience in working with both consultants/contractors.
Create, monitor, and review the 4D simulation of construction sequencing.
4D Model or Animation to demonstrate construction sequencing and document temporary works, health, and safety use of the model.
Coordinate 4D information between planning, construction, control, and technical teams.
Align model breakdown with the programme WBS.
Prepare 4D models, monthly 4D progress reports and 4D constructability.
Record 4D BIM issues in the observation reports
Perform QA /QC checks on 4D models and Validation for the information in the 4D models.
Animation - rendering and presentation.
Coaching and mentoring training for the technical and planning team, and resident engineers.
Support project teams with the use of 3D generated site logistics and site phasing.
Develop and implement project 4D strategy.
Prepare and deliver presentations to client management teams.
Capable of preparing own discipline model and/or content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
Support BIM manager with planning and construction activities with proposed 4D sequencing model(s) review and progress reporting.
Support BIM manager and project delivery team(s) in day-to-day BIM implementation activities.
Provide progress and performance updates to BIM manager on fortnightly and monthly basis.
Record, store and maintain all formal correspondences related to 4D BIM activities.
Must have solid understanding CDE platforms like ACC, BIM-360/ProjectWise.
Experience (essential)
A degree, ideally in Architecture, Structure, Mechanical or equivalent
A minimum of 10 years BIM experience
Technically capable of producing and managing LOD 300, 400 & 500 BIM models.
Proven building and Infrastructure 4D experience
Extensive knowledge in using Primavera, Revit, Fuzor, Synchro, Navisworks Manage, Civil 3D, DynamoBIM.
Experience working in a Design Consultancy and / or Contractor.
Working knowledge of Information Standards ISO 19650 (Parts 1 to 5), MIDP and TIDP creation and MIDP Automation.
Knowledge of construction methods and experience in resolving technical issues throughout all stages of design and construction.
COBie understanding is essential.
Knowledge of CDE platforms (ACC, BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex)
Candidate must have worked on large scale projects.
