Account Manager - Arabic Content Writer

The role:
We are looking for an Arabic Content Writer to join our team and enrich our Arabic communications skills. Edelman helps clients/partners in creating brand stories that deliver measurable results through effective, compelling and persuasive communication and branding solutions with our expertise in Marketing Strategy, Media/Public Relations, and Digital Marketing.
The role would require creating communication solutions that have a notable impact in the Public Relations, social media, Branding and communication space.

Responsibilities:

•   Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies).
•    Ability to draft original Arabic content / press releases.
•   Ability to perfectly translate English content document to Arabic.
•   Understand creative briefs and effectively contribute to the communication process.
•   Manage content calendar and develop social content strategy.
• Creative and tactical thought process to produce new ideas and concepts.
• To be able to manage multiple briefs at a given point of time.
• Ability to create PR/SM/Digital effective content for clients from different sectors.
• Ability to write for various mediums such as Press releases, feature articles, biography, speeches, social media, Websites, Banners, Collaterals etc. Effectively.
• Overlooking the overall ARABIC communication flow.
• Contributing ideas for pitches and campaigns.
• Working as part of a team with printers, photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication.
• Drafting website content as needed.
• Handle Media relations aspects and communicate with press as needed. 

Requirements:

• fluent in Arabic both written/spoken.
• BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role.
• Content creating experience (marketing, web, creative, copy writing).
• Content strategy development.
• Proven Media relations experience.
• Portfolio of published articles.
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
