Civil Structural Estimator

Location: Riyadh, KSA.
Employment Type: Direct Hire.
Years of experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken).
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Structural Estimator is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and structural construction projects.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Analysis: Collaborate with engineers to interpret structural designs and specifications, determining the scope of work for cost estimation.
• Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for civil and structural projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expenses.
• Quantity Take-off: Conduct quantity take-offs from structural drawings to determine the amount of materials needed for construction.
• Value Engineering: Recommend cost-effective solutions and alternatives to structural designs to optimize project costs without compromising structural integrity.
• Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals by providing accurate cost estimates to potential clients.
• Budget Management: Work with project managers to develop and manage project budgets, tracking costs throughout the construction process.
• Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing for structural materials and services required for the project.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs, prepare cost reports, and identify areas for cost savings or potential cost overruns.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Saudi Arabian nationality preferred, with a deep understanding of the local business culture, customs, and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
