Opportunity Overview
Our client is a leading payments firm and they are seeking a seasoned Commercial Cards Product Manager for a 12-month(extendable) tenure in Riyadh, KSA. With a focus on the financial institution (FI) sector, the ideal candidate will bring 8-16 years of relevant experience, particularly in developing and managing commercial card products for large market and B2B opportunities. This role involves extensive collaboration across departments to grow, maintain, and convert a robust pipeline of opportunities, co-develop value propositions, set product pricing, and lead the launch of new products.
What You Will Be Doing
- Product Development:
- Cultivate and manage a pipeline of Large Market/B2B opportunities, ensuring KPIs on Pipeline Value, Conversion Rate, Time-to-Revenue, and Year 1/Year 2 revenue are met or exceeded.
- Co-develop value propositions and determine product pricing strategies.
- Provide insights for the development of market positioning for commercial products.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform solution bundles and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with technology, design, policy, risk, compliance teams, and external partners/vendors to build, launch, and promote products.
- Launch New Products:
- Identify sales opportunities and prospects in alignment with the end client bank's strategy.
- Develop an acquisition strategy, including sales planning and enablement, and interface directly with customers.
- Lead sales discussions, pitch products to end customers, and coordinate with marketing and communications staff.
- Train and support the sales teams within FI partners to enhance their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
- Monitor results and recommend improvements to strategies and processes.
Your Background
- Experience Requirement: 8 to16 years of relevant experience in commercial banking products, with a strong focus on SMEs and large corporates.
- Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of commercial banking products.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, driving results with high energy and initiative.
- Effective people management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
