This important role will, in conjunction with Talent Academy colleagues, develop, launch, and then manage the Neom Digital Academy.


Now is an exciting, once in a lifetime opportunity to join The Talent Academy as our Digital Academy Manager; we want to offer the tech & digital workforce of NEOM cutting edge educational technologies to enhance the tech & digital learning experience to a never seen before level.


The Digital Academy Manager will ensure that the Digital Academy offer a full range of tech & digital training solutions, together with a full range of industry recognised accreditation and certification keeping the Tech & Digital workforce operating in NEOM at the forefront of Tech & Digital expertise and professionalism.


The successful candidate will be empowered to roll out the latest in educational technologies; working with NEOM Specialist Academies and the Talent Academy delivery team to find opportunities for the Tech & Digital workforce of NEOM to gain maximum benefits from these innovations.


Key Accountabilities & Activities


Planning & strategy


  • Develop and own the technical and user experience roadmap for Talent Academy educational technology to deliver an innovative and effective learning experience to NEOM vocational learners.
  • Collaborate with Talent Academy colleagues in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing appropriate educational technologies that address pedagogical and instructional challenges faced by vocational learners in NEOM.
  • Continuously review and look for opportunities to improve and introduce; investigating and rolling out new functionality where appropriate, working with technology, information management and other stakeholders to bring our vision for vocational learning in NEOM to reality.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and research in L&D, blended learning, digital learning, human-centered design and other relevant methodologies, to ensure that the Talent Academy Educational Technology strategy supports these approaches where applicable.

Operational


  • Be accountable for the day to day running of the NEOM Digital Academy.
  • Recruit, lead and manage a team of trainers delivering our face-to-face, hybrid, blended, and online courses.
  • Manage the development and upkeep of training and documentation resources and develop overall strategy for knowledge base information regarding the Talent Academy Education Innovation Team.
  • Assist Digital Academy trainers in all aspects of courseware development and in the selection and integration of appropriate instructional and emerging technologies.
  • Actively pursue and maintain vendor contacts for advancements in the Tech & Digital instructional technology landscape.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Academy Management team establish a clear communication strategy to ensure NEOM employers and employees have a clear understanding and knowledge of the latest educational technologies available through the Digital Academy.
  • Provide senior managers with information, analysis and reporting from Digital Academy learners to measure engagement, impact and make informed suggestions for the deployment of future educational technology initiatives.

Support duties


  • Recruit & manage the Talent Academy Digital Academy team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects, working with training instructors in the adoption of technology (software, hardware and courseware) in teaching and learning.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting, leading and managing a team.
  • Experience using tools to support training instructors use of technology in the physical and online learning environment.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems, online and hybrid collaboration software (e.g. MS Teams), and innovative technologies to deliver and support in-center/online training programmes.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and act on internal and external reports and data.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 5yrs + experience in the day-to-day development and implementation of learning and/or workforce development in a vocational learning environment.
