General Overview:


Our client, a leading Healthcare service provider is looking to hire an Operations Director to join their team in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing strategies that focus on improving patient care and increasing clinical efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the clinic's Operations including medical, nursing, patient experience, and quality.
  • Oversee business growth and positive patient experience.
  • Manage the overall operations of the clinic, including budgeting, hiring, scheduling, and completing contracts.
  • Monitoring medical administration, patient’s outcomes, and physician performance.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to various technical, professional, and/or administrative personnel engaged in specified project activities, as appropriate to the position.
  • Manage activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, and medical protocol development.
  • Lead, support, and maintain the operational and clinical care teams, hiring, training, and coaching them to meet goals, and solving problems as they arise.
  • Develop, amend, and update medical policies and procedures.
  • Develop cooperation between physicians, paramedics, nurses, and medical departments and evaluate and manage any dysfunctions of medical units.
  • Assist in training, continuing education, and promotion of medical staff.
  • Ensure that medical staff and facility comply with the rules & regulations.
  • Manage and oversee all credit & insurance companies' daily transactions and their relevant procedures including the review of the medical service claims with timely forwarding to the related Insurance Companies & TPAs.
  • Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Work with finance managers in the development of financial and budgetary plans.
  • Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommend solutions for improvement when necessary.
  • Manage and run a wide variety of projects including but not limited to: Transformation Projects, IT implementations, Business Process Reengineering, Feasibility Studies, etc.
  • Establish and lead CBAHI Re-accreditation team.
  • Redesign Clinical quality System: Develop Clinical Protocols and Pathways with the relevant managers.
  • To ensure and to facilitate the implementation of the quality, infection control and safety standards, in co-ordination with the TQM & Administration departments.
  • Facilitate and coordinate CBAHI accreditation with all business unit leaders and to conduct a regular visit for all centers and provides a day-to-day operational support.
  • Collaborate with the organization leaders to envision, develop, and implement the organization’s quality and patient safety plan.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in medical management, corporate planning, clinics management.
  • 5+ years' experience in a hospital / Clinics administration role.
  • Experience in corporate finance and resource management.
  • Knowledge of relevant medical techniques and standards of care.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent in written & oral communication skills (both Arabic & English)
  • Advanced communication skills: Listening, Empathy, Negotiation and Persuasion)

  • Teamwork management skills.
  • Planning (strategic, operational, action planning).
  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine is required, MBA is preferable.
