Accountable and responsible for the provision of professional leadership in the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies that deliver high quality family centered patient care and ensures collaborative working practices at program level. Leads and coordinates the successful achievement of the Organ Transplant Centre (OTC) of Excellence Nursing Affairs strategic goals.
1. Provides advanced leadership direction to Program Director and Head Nurses and others within assigned area of responsibility. Monitors the performance and development of Head Nurses and others within assigned area of responsibility.
2. Provides leadership in performance improvement, and monitors outcome for assigned programs and OTC wide activities.
3. Collaborates with nursing colleagues, physicians and other key stakeholders to achieve required objectives within assigned areas.
4. Monitors the performance and guides the professional development of Program staff.
5. Establishes and achieves targets for Saudization and nationality mix in areas of responsibility, consistent with strategic plan of OTCoE NA.
6. Leads and coordinates collaborative multi-disciplinary partnerships working towards the achievements of constant improvement in quality patient care.
7. Continuously promotes quality across program area. Monitors quality and takes effective action to address quality issues with the main stake holders.
PhD, Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other related discipline is required.
Nine (9) years of related experience with PhD, twelve (12) years with Master’s, or fourteen (14) years with Bachelor’s degree including five (5) years at a managerial/supervisory position is required.
Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
