Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, studying, and improving electrical systems for oil & gas facilities, utilities, and residences, ensuring optimal power reliability and efficiency.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and modify electrical systems for oil & gas facilities, residential buildings, and utility services.
  
• Plan and oversee new facility electrical designs, focusing on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  
• Mentor and train junior electrical engineers, sharing expertise and promoting continuous learning.
  
• Develop and implement Energy Management and Efficiency Programs to enhance energy use and sustainability.
  
• Lead the development of Power Reliability Programs, monitoring and optimizing the performance of electrical systems.
  
• Review and approve engineering design packages, ensuring optimal material selection and cost reduction.
  
• Design and issue engineering packages for anode monitoring and Cathodic Protection (CP) systems.
  
• Perform electrical surveys, assessments, and audits, particularly concerning DC battery systems, CP systems, and solar installations.
  
• Identify and develop solutions for continuous improvement in electrical challenges.
  

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Power Engineering from a recognized institution.
  
• Advanced degree in an electrical engineering discipline (preferred).
  
• Minimum of 14 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  
• Valid driving license with the ability to undertake long-distance travel.
  
• Proficient in English with effective communication skills.
  
• Skilled in developing design packages and conducting electrical system studies.
  
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, IEEE standards, and best practices.
  
• Recommended to have IEEE membership.
  
• In-depth experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical systems, including but not limited to power overhead lines, transformers, generators, and more.
