Job Description

PrimeGate, seeks a highly motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to join the Human Resources team as an Employee Relations & Engagement Lead

Human Resources Department is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 

The position will report to the Human Resources Manager and will be responsible for working with leaders within the organization to assist to maintain constructive attitude, relieve external and internal stress such as difficulties in job function, overseeing new hires and current employees, and handling the exit process, communicating Human Resources policies, conducting exit interviews, analyzing employee data, and providing management with recommendations.

 

Our ideal candidate has strong relationship building skills, innovative thinking and a commitment to working with people.

Candidates should have a background in employee relations, conflict resolution, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions. Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures., or experience in employee relations or labor relations in Information Technology, manufacturing, construction, or in skilled trades environments, or in similar environments where employee Working Environment and Corporate Relations is performed for optimal effectiveness.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field required
  • 6+ years of HR, Employee relations or People Operations experience required
  • Knowledge of employee relations, preferably within the engineering sector or a related industry.
  • Exceptional consulting, assessment and coaching skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Effective training and facilitation skills for large and small groups

Self-motivated and directed with strong leadership experience

Responsibilities

 

  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions. Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures specific to the engineering sector, considering industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for employees and managers on employee relations topics, including conflict resolution, communication skills, and compliance.
  • Stay informed about employment laws and regulations relevant to the engineering sector. Ensure policies and practices comply with legal requirements.
  • Work on initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Identify and address issues affecting morale and teamwork.
  • Effectively communicate HR policies, changes, and updates to employees. Act as a liaison between employees and management.
  • Processes resignation and termination procedures, generates NOC (No Objection Certificate) and release of sponsorship letter and adds departments for employees.
  • Processes Exit-only and Exit Re-entry Visas and reviews existing policies and procedures.
  • Develops programs to promote employee retention.
  • Initiates Clearance for resigned employees.
  • Participates in crises intervention as required.
  • Processes all operations of transfer, promotions, increments, warning letters, and position changing, and making sure the process is completed in a timely manner and accurately.
  • Handles Human Resources announcements that include but not limited to transfers and promotions as per policies to make sure that other employees are aware of any changes.
  • Assists with completing background investigations grievance procedures according to Saudi Labor law.

All other duties as assigned.

Safety

  • Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
  • Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.

Respond to all of his customer requests in a professional and courteous, timely and responsive manner.

  • Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance at all time, meeting all Company standards for professionalism.

Keep the Management continually apprised to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.
