Endodontics Registrar

JOB SUMMARY

The Endodontics Registrar in a top-tier hospital in Saudi Arabia is responsible for Demonstrating advanced clinical skills in endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, surgical endodontics, and related treatments, providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients requiring endodontic interventions, and ensuring optimal outcomes. work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists, to deliver comprehensive patient care.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

• Provide high-quality care to patients requiring endodontic interventions, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
• Performing dental procedures such as extractions, fillings, and oral surgeries.
• Conducting routine dental examinations.
• Collaborating with other dental specialists and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Providing emergency dental care when required
• Effectively communicating with patients, explaining procedures, and addressing their concerns.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
• Adhering to hospital protocols for documentation and record-keeping.
• Engaging in continuous education to stay updated on advancements in dentistry
• Supervising and providing guidance to dental residents and students.
• Ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Participating in quality assurance programs
• Complying with dental regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Participating in or contributing to dental research activities and publications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry from a recognized medical school.
• Master's Degree or equivalent qualification in Endodontics.
• Membership and/or Fellowship status in Royal College or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the registrar as required
• A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
• Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

• +2 years’ specialized post-qualification experience in Endodontics in a recognized center or hospital.

Language

• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
