The Team Leader Service for Leica Biosystems is responsible for delivering & promoting  high quality technical service support within the region, achieving high customer satisfaction.


The Team Leader is responsible for managing the team, but will  be required to perform onsite  service & maintenance activities as well


The Team Leader provides the direction, leadership, coaching and mentoring for Field Service Engineers  in Saudi.  Advance the professional development, professional conduct, service effectiveness and efficiency of staff. Drive service as a business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:


People Management


•            Manage, coach, mentor and support a team of Field Service Engineers


•            Engage and lead the team to achieve and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales quota, strategic and service objectives.


•            Co-travel with (new) Field Service Engineers ,  providing individual coaching and professional development  when needed


•            Establish SW and monitor KPi’s  for direct reports and set expectations on completion of responsibilities and duties


Technical Field Service Activities


•            Visit customers, oversee, support and mentor Field Service Engineers for daily activities, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, phone support and upgrades in order to achieve first class customer care


•            Visit customers to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practices in line with set KPI’s.


•            On site installation of various Histopathology and ancillary equipment


Service Revenues 


•            Achieve revenue utilization targets, as well as all the others KPI’s set up annually


•            Develop new ways to leverage service organization for growth opportunities


DBS/Processes


Ensure relevant DBS tools are used to drive process improvements, using KPIs and target setting. Ensure the correct use of SFDC. Further develop robust Daily Management through QDIP.


The essential requirements of the job include:


  • Educated in a Mechanical, Electronic or Electrical subject. Preferably Bachelor’s degree/diploma level or Equivalent vocational qualification such as NVQ or C&G.
  • Experience in Field Service or a related field, including Laboratory work.
  • Team Leadership, ability to create and drive effective team working
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written with ability to communicate across different levels internally and at customer sites.
  • Commercial drive to run service as a business
  • Proven track record in using and implementing KPIs for service
  • Ability to prioritize team workloads to maximize efficiencies
  • Motivation to standardize and improve processes
  • Knowledge of network configuration and setup such as firewalls and TCP/IP networking components in a Windows environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to carry & move up to 25kg safely.

Travel:


Must be willing to travel within their defined territory up to 80% of their time


Language: Arabic and English
