Role Overview:
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with Finance Leadership to shape and oversee our Profit & Loss (P&L) performance strategy. You will be instrumental in crafting insightful reporting frameworks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to engage with essential stakeholders effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forge a strategic partnership with Finance Leadership to establish a rigorous P&L performance review framework, developing pertinent reporting mechanisms and KPIs for stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis to enhance visibility into financial KPIs, driving both business and operational accountability.
- Undertake detailed analysis of forecasts, budgets, and business operations across all locations, ensuring consistency and coherence.
- Offer first-line support to business operations and local financial controllers, addressing finance-related queries.
- Spearhead the development, maintenance, and analytical review of division-specific reports and dashboards, enhancing financial process efficiency and performance through data-driven insights.
- Analyze consolidated product contribution margins and prepare accounting position papers, leading initiatives to bolster financial decision-making and inventory, demand, and supply visibility at a regional level.
- Champion finance perspectives in business and operational reviews, critically evaluating business cases from profitability and cash flow angles.
- Aggregate cost-related data from diverse sources, undertaking income and expense projections and variance analyses.
- Provide prompt ad-hoc data and analysis support to the General Manager and his Brand Lead/planning team.
- Actively collaborate with the Planning team on comprehensive forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Develop an intricate business Management Information System (MIS) that encapsulates all vital performance indicators across financial, commercial, and operational facets.
- Ensure accurate, secure finance records management in compliance with Saudi Arabian and IFRS standards, including correct taxation, Zakat recording, and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant or possess an equivalent post-graduate qualification.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience to the table.
- Skill set should include exceptional numerical and analytical prowess, positive leadership qualities, a team-building spirit, and keen commercial awareness.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written), self-direction, and robust interpersonal and team-building abilities are essential.
- A good relationship with local banks is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is required.
