We are seeking a Head of FP&A to support the Finance VP in all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and successful business.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Full ownership of the financial reporting process for the Middle East business with focus on Corporate compliance and satisfaction and local business management reporting requirements;

  
  

• Work closely with ME Business Finance leads and their teams to continuously improve financial planning and budgeting processes and systems to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of financial information;

  
  

• Analyse ME level consolidated financial submissions ahead of VP Finance review;

  
  

• Work closely with ME Finance Operations, Internal and External Auditors to ensure full compliance and year on year improvements in all audit processes;

  
  

• One of the key POC’s for Corporate Finance and other AtkinsRealis finance teams;

  
  

• Key point of contact for all ME business support functions’ financial matters;

  
  

• Support the Finance VP with ad-hoc initiatives and reports;

  
  

• Manage ME FP&A team and ensure team maximizes potential;

  
  

• Ad-hoc major bid and project reviews and delegate for VP Finance;

  
  

Technical Competencies

Essential

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA or other recognized Accounting qualification;

  
  

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an FP&A environment;

  
  

• Track record of leading and improving FP&A teams;

  
  

• Track record of working with large volumes of finance and none finance data and producing high value outputs;

  
  

• Track record of managing the output of recurring deliverables efficiently, in various formats including PowerBI, MS PowerPoint and MS Word and always to a high standard;

  
  

• Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively at all levels

  
  

• Excellent communication in English (both written and oral)

  
  

• Experience of interacting with multiple businesses and finance functions

  
  

• Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment

  
  

Desirable

• Prior experience working within an Engineering Consultancy business

  
  

• Working knowledge of JD Edwards, Hyperion Finance Management (HFM), Smart View, Oracle and other IT systems and databases
