Job Description

   Job Summary: 


Responsible for providing a specialist input into developing and maintaining a quality infection prevention and control service in conjunction with the infection prevention and control committee through the prevention, surveillance, investigation and control of infection within the hospital.

 


Skills

Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required :


  • Medical Doctor from a recognized university.
  • Recognized certificate(s) in Infection Prevention and Control is a must.
  • Specialized knowledge and experience in progressive areas of Management, leadership and education.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in directing, designing, planning coordination of a hospital-wide Infection Control Program.
  • Must have practiced medicine for at least three years.
  • Frequent computer user; expert in MS Office application.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent command in English language both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to set priorities and complete work assignments in a self-directed manner.
  • Evidence of participation and/or membership in professional organization of specialty.
