C. Qualifications:

• Practical experience in information security is highly valued.
• Hands-on experience in implementing security controls, conducting risk assessments, managing security incidents, and working with security technologies such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and intrusion detection systems (IDS) and SOAR solutions.
• Cybersecurity Skills: Information security engineers should possess a broad range of technical skills and knowledge in cybersecurity. This includes:
• Network security: Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), and secure remote access technologies.
• Application security: Knowledge of secure coding practices, web application vulnerabilities, and secure software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• Security assessment and testing: Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security auditing techniques.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Information security engineers should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify security vulnerabilities, analyze security incidents, and propose effective solutions.

D. Experience:

5-7/- years experience in same role.

E. Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer and Communication Engineering or relevant domain.

Certifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) .
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) .
• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) .
• GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) .
• CompTIA Security+.
