As the Interface Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders involved in our construction projects. You will be responsible for managing interfaces between different disciplines, teams, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless project delivery. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
Implement a robust interface management plan, including supporting procedures and templates,
Manage, identify, and resolve internal & external interfaces,
Coordinates the identification and management of interface technical data,
Prioritize team’s focus to support regulatory submittals and approvals,
Manage the interfaces between the project parties contributing to optimal development and program set up for successful procurement and delivery,
Provide input into contract development to maximize efficiencies in the delivery and operations of the project and resolving issues and conflicting requirements in a timely manner,
Manage the interface between the project parties in the delivery and commissioning of the project,
Engage with key stakeholders effected by project works to understand their needs and concerns, taking measures to maintain effective relationships throughout the project,
Co-ordinate the development, assessment, negotiation, approval and execution of commercial agreements between RMS and third partie,
Contribute to the development of the operations and management control system, and the interface with third party systems and operations,
Contribute to the development of an Interface Management Plan, monitoring and coordinating implementation,
Contribute to the project schedule of works and progress monitoring throughout the project,
Provide input and solutions which allow for minimal third-party impact, whilst maintaining commercially effective project delivery,
Maintain effective relationships with third parties in order to avoid disputes and commercial compensation claims,
Produce and maintain appropriate, standardized documents and regular reporting to the senior management and other stakeholders reflecting key issues, resolutions, and performance to enable them to effectively understand risks and impacts on the project,
Ensure a collaborative approach is maintained across the team to facilitate the planning and delivery of interface works, ensuring all issues are clearly understood by teams and addressed, and appropriate interventions developed and implemented,
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent,
(12) to (15) years of overall experience in project and construction management,
Ability to establish interface management plan based on contractual requirements,
Minimum (5) years managerial experience in Project Interface Management,
Experience with auditing and reporting procedures,
Ability to establish, improve and update all interface register, interface map and procedures from project takeover to handover documentation with the client,
Capable of establishing key performance indicators, analyzing causes of deviation, and reporting them,
Able to review technical submissions to ensure they meet all contractual requirements and review contracts related to interfacing activities.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.),
Very good command of spoken and written English,
Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude,
Strong leadership with the ability to follow up, plan work, and make decisions,
Excellent communication and presentation skills,
