Job Description

  • Installing, supporting and maintaining computers & server hardware and software ensuring the most cost-effective and efficient use of systems.
  • Manage emails, anti-spam, virus protection & monitor network usage.
  • Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.
  • Undertake routine preventative measures and implementing, maintaining and monitoring network security.
  • Analyze and resolve faults, troubleshoot almost any IT-related problem that may arise.
  • Responsible for other IT equipment such as printers, faxes, data show, scanners etc…
  • Recommend and implement –upon getting necessary approvals- future IT developments.
  • Provides best help desk to the end users answering staff questions in person and via phone on all company supported applications, using IT help desk tools and SLA
  • Assisting personnel of other departments as a computer resource.
  • Serve as liaison between staff and the technology department in resolving documentation issues.
  • Responsible for the incoming and outgoing of documents in the IT Department.
  • Performs hardware and software installations.
  • Requesting of unavailable computer peripherals to be used by the technical staff in configuring computer components.

  • Receiving and documenting of all computer peripherals related documents requested by the IT Manager from the Purchasing Department.
  • Making reports on updated files and documents to the IT Manager.
  • Maintaining confidentiality with regard to the information being processed and stored or accessed.
  • Securing valuable information within the IT Department.
  • Responsible for the incoming and outgoing of documents in the IT Department.
  • Respond/act on management directions.
  • Responsible to follow the GxP practices, implementation and follow-up of quality system and its procedures.
  • The person nominated by department manager is responsible to carry out the responsibilities of the position in case of absence or whenever the need arises.
  • Monitor and administer L1 support using the IT helpdesk tool and SLA.

  • MS-Office (word, Excel and power point).
  • Ability to communicate with others.
  • SAP experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of preparing financial reports.
