JOB PURPOSE

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia.We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

·EnsuringthattheLTobjectivesarebeingcorrectlydeliveredandthattheleadership package is taught in a dynamic and supportive environment.

·Thedeliveryoftheacademicleadershiplessons.

·Planningandmanagingthedeliveryofallleadershipspecificpracticaltraining.

·ThemanagementanddeliveryoftheStrengthDeploymentInventory (SDI)psychometric type questionnaire to cadets.

·Theintegrationofpracticalleadershipintotheconfirmatorypracticaltrainingexercises.

·ThedevelopmentanddeliveryofbespokeremedialLTforcadetswhoarefindingaspects of the leadership module difficult.

·Providinginputtotheendofterm/coursereviewboardsonacadet’sleadership performance.

·Providingadditionalsupporttoanyaspectsofthetrainingdeliveryasrequired.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

ESSENTIAL:

·DefenceTraintheTrainercourse.

·RoyalAirForceCollege(RAFC)CranwellOfficerandAircrewTrainingUnitStaffInduction Course (OSIC) – post 2004 or Saudi Officers School (SOS) in KhamisMushyet, “Alsahan” graduates and instructors.

·Leadership Qualification: Master, Bachelor, Diploma, Foundation Degree, Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Certificate Level 5 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Certificate level 5 or equivalent.

·Well documented evidence of two years’ experience in teaching leadership in a military environment.

DESIRABLE:

·Recognisedleadership,airpowerormilitaryskillsqualifications
