This role is responsible for Post Sales support for customers. This can include repairs (both returns and field), technical support or a field service or other service request.


As the Lead Cementing Engineer - Technical Support, you will be responsible for:


  • Handling customer technical requests including facilitating technical requirements for job execution.
  • Managing the design, execution & evaluation of cementing operations.
  • Presenting to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on how technologies contribute to overall strategy.
  • Leading initiatives to increase the utilization of the company’s commercial cementing technology by identifying gaps and products to meet requirements.
  • Providing 24/7 support for critical operations in the field when needed
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies and compliance requirements
  • Participating with and supporting the sales team tenders, quotations and commercial requirements to meet forecasted revenue targets.
  • Maintaining documentation as specified for each cementing operation with end-of-well reports.

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Have of 7+ years of relevant work experience in technical support / as a cementing engineer
  • Be able to work in a 24/7 service environment, based on an agreed shift schedule
  • Have good communication skills both verbal and written in English
