Job Description

This important role will support the initial roll out and ongoing management of the Talent Academy’s Learner Management System (LMS)

The successful candidate will be empowered to roll out additional system functionality and system integration; working with NEOM Specialist Academies and the Talent Academy delivery team to find opportunities for the workforce of NEOM to gain maximum benefits from this system.


Key Accountabilities 


Planning & strategy


  • Develop and own the technical and user experience roadmap for the Talent Academy LMS to deliver a great user experience.
  • Continuously review and look for opportunities to improve and develop the system; investigating and rolling out new functionality where appropriate, working with technology, information management and other stakeholders to bring this to fruition.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Academy Management team establish a clear communication strategy to ensure NEOM employers and employees have a clear understanding and knowledge of training and development opportunities available on the Talent Academy LMS.
  • Work closely with our internal and external content providers to keep abreast of any new learning packages that are developed and making suggestions for their future roadmap of learning content based on Talent Academy and stakeholder needs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and research in L&D, blended learning, digital learning, human-centered design and other relevant methodologies, to ensure that the LMS supports these approaches where applicable.

Operational


  • Be accountable for the day to day running of the Talent Academy LMS team.
  • Lead and manage a team of LMS Advisors to provide day-to-day operational support for learners engaging with the Talent Academy LMS.
  • Manage the development and upkeep of training and documentation resources and develop overall strategy for knowledge base information regarding the Talent Academy LMS.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Academy Management team establish a clear communication strategy to ensure NEOM employers and employees have a clear understanding and knowledge of available development opportunities through the Talent Academy LMS.
  • Provide senior managers with information, analysis and reporting from Talent Academy learners to measure engagement, impact and make informed suggestions for the deployment of future LMS system initiatives.
  • Work closely with our internal and external content providers to keep abreast of any new vocational learning trends.

Support duties


  • Recruit & manage the Talent Academy LMS support function.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience of LMS implementation, development, and scalability, particularly with Adobe Learning Manager.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience recruiting, leading, and managing a team.
  • Experience in utilizing integrated LMS tools to simplify processes, create dynamic learning paths, create courses, deploy training courses/multimedia content.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and act on internal and external reports and data.

Qualifications


  • Level 5 Learning and Development Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 5yrs + experience in the day-to-day management and development of an LMS and associated support functions.
