MEP Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Coordinator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field and will be responsible for coordinating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems of our projects. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration within construction projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the proper installation and functioning of MEP systems.
2. Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the requirements for MEP systems.
3. Prepare and submit project schedules, budgets, and progress reports to management.
4. Oversee the procurement of MEP equipment and materials, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
5. Conduct regular site visits to monitor the progress of MEP installations and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
6. Coordinate with the project team to ensure that MEP systems are integrated seamlessly with other construction elements.
7. Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors, ensuring that they are adhering to project specifications and timelines.
8. Conduct regular inspections and tests of MEP systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project requirements.
9. Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative solutions to complex MEP challenges.
10. Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in MEP systems and incorporate them into project designs and installations.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in coordinating MEP systems on large-scale construction projects.
3. Excellent knowledge of MEP codes, standards, and regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
6. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Strong leadership and management skills.
9. Ability to travel to project sites as required.
