Job Summary: As an NDT Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests to ensure the safety and integrity of materials and structures without causing damage. Your role is crucial in maintaining the standards and safety of our engineering processes and constructions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform non-destructive testing on materials, components, or assemblies to identify defects, discontinuities, or differences in characteristics without impairing their usefulness.
Implement various methods such as ultrasonic, radio graphic, magnetic particle, and dye penetrate testing.
Interpret test results and provide detailed reports that help in assessing the integrity and safety of structures.
Ensure compliance with company and safety regulations while conducting tests.
Maintain NDT equipment and troubleshoot any issues to avoid downtime.
Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and quality control professionals, to discuss testing parameters and results.
Assist in developing new testing techniques or procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of NDT processes.
Requirements
Certification in Non-Destructive Testing from a recognized institution.
Proven experience as an NDT Technician in a similar industry.
Familiarity with the tools, equipment, and technologies used in non-destructive testing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and precision.
Good communication skills to report findings effectively and work in a team environment.
Ability to interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.
Must be willing to relocate to Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various industrial environments.
Awareness of and compliance with all safety guidelines about the use of radioactive and other potentially hazardous equipment.
Willingness to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays.
