Pricing Analyst

As a pricing specialist, you will be responsible to acquire the best possible competitive rates from origin, destination, and carriers by establishing excellent relationships with logistics agents/partners and our DSV network. In addition, you will be responsible to prepare quotations for diverse projects and provide feedback on NEOM RFQs towards their suppliers and overall cost calculation.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to optimize cost-efficiency, service quality, and ensure maximum profitability.
• Coordinates with DSV offices for the quoting process of shipments.
• Maintaining continuous communication with vendors, shippers, carriers and DSV overseas offices throughout the quotation process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer's needs.
• Create and maintain pricing databases, models, and tools to facilitate accurate and efficient pricing decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and make recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
• Communicate pricing changes, strategies, and updates effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on pricing analysis and historical pricing to support business growth and market expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, operations and planning teams to provide pricing support and guidance for bids, proposals, and contract negotiations.

Educational Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration/Economics/Logistics or freight forwarding.
• A minimum of 5 years work experience Freight Forwarding and 3PL industry
• Strong working experience within the GCC / Saudi Arabia preferred.

Competencies

• Strong negotiation and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Proficiency in using pricing software and databases for analysis and reporting.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong relationship and understanding of GCC / Saudi trucking carriers and vendors.
