Specific accountabilities:


·Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&ID’s, Block flow diagrams, etc.


·Pre-bid drawing estimates.


·Site surveys and process drawing verification (as-building), Supervising, coordinating and training of process designers.


·Coordinating process drafting work by other designers.


·Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.


·Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.


·Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.


·Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc.


·Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc.


·Understand and follow OH&S procedures.


Essential skills/experience:


·Relevant Experience in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process drawing drafting/design.


·Preference will be given for candidates with experience in ISO 9001 certified Middle East engineering consultancy companies.


·Experience in AUTOCAD 2D, AUTOPLANT, PDMS, PDS, Micro-station, MS Office is a must.


·Independently able to produce process drawings using company or client drawing standards.


·Experience in preparing line lists, equipment list, drawing and document lists.


·Good working knowledge of manual drawing conversion tools (raster or vector) and editing in required software.


·Familiarity with all process related engineering activities.


·Dynamic and enthusiastic approach.


·Excellent communication and presentation skills.


·Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated performance as a team leader.


·A practical hands on approach is required.
