- Responsible for monitoring the overall performance of the Sakaka PV Plant in accordance with Project Agreements, and
Industry best practices.
- Perform “big data” analysis to identify major sources of site underperformance.
- Responsible for monitoring legal & contractual compliance status.
- This PV Project Engineer shall contribute to achieving the organization's growth targets through successful project development engineering. He/She shall ensure a project's success by meeting commercial terms and internal project economics through efficient and optimized PV Operations.
- Troubleshoot systems in operation and review system performance data to identify performance problems.
- Work closely with project engineers to manage project timelines.
- Review production estimates and meteorological data sources for accuracy by comparing them to operational systems.
- Collaborate with operations team to troubleshoot existing projects and develop repair and remediation plans.
- Improve and develop processes for the execution of safe, quality, and high-performance projects.
- Mentor and educate team on changing trends in technology, best practices, and safety.
Skills:
▪ Practical experience and know-how of electrical / mechanical and instrument technology engineering
▪ Knowledge of downtime analysis and practical knowledge of problem-solving tools
▪ Knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)
▪ Good knowledge of SAP
▪ Detailed understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance theory
▪ Knowledge of the operations in water desalination and power generation plants
▪ Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills
▪ Experience answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations, providing troubleshooting, improving process engineering tools, and developing procedures
▪ Teamwork and effective collaboration skills
A Bachelor degree holder in Engineering.
