Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential safety hazards and risks
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Monitor and enforce safety regulations and policies set by the company and government agencies
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct safety training sessions for employees
  • Prepare and maintain reports on safety inspection findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a culture of safety in the workplace
  • Stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations


Skills

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Safety Inspector or similar role
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Certification in occupational health and safety is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on safety matters
