Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Purpose: The Sales Supervisor is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market. He/ She staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. He/ She establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs to the clients and Sales Executives. Key Responsibilities: Sales
¦ Setting forecasts and allocating budgets – AOP for the year
¦ Ensuring achievement of Sales and budgets per customer targeted and product allocated.
¦ Setting up an appropriate MIS System by following up with the Sales Team about competition, Sales achievement and new technologies.
¦ Ensuring Sales forecasts achievement of each supplier.
¦ Adhering to the strategic plans of AMICO as discussed and agreed upon with the Business Development Manager and Country Sales Manager.
¦ Ensures the achievement of the budgeted GPM.

Marketing



¦


Prepares and sets the marketing budget in discussion with the BDM and CSM.



¦


Ensures ample participation in congresses and conferences as agreed upon in the beginning of the year.



¦


Ensures that the marketing activities are conducted as planned and also sends a regular report on the same to the CSM and BDM.

¦


Prepares product training schedules for the customers in coordination with the Sales Team and suppliers.
Receivables Management

¦


Follows up on the outstanding payables and ensures that the overdue collections are kept within the specified limit of 60 days.

¦


Coordinates with the Accounts team and Customers for any issues related to the payments.



Inventory Management:



¦


Prepares the Rolling forecast (Min Max) for the products in demand every month for the next two months



¦


Controls product expiry by ensuring liquidation of the near expiry stocks.



¦


Prepares a strategy for the slow moving stocks to ensure appropriate stock management.

¦


Optimizes the utilization of the loan sets with customer.

¦


Ensures that the loaned items are invoiced regularly.
Payables:

¦


Coordinates with the BDMs to negotiate on the payment terms to suppliers.

¦


Supports the accounts team in resolving issues related to payables.

Supervisory Role



Development:



¦


Conducts joint field visits to identify training needs, resolve field issues and coach team members.



¦


Initiates team development activities (technical and sales training) and coordinates with suppliers and internal training team to ensure the same.



Controls:
¦ Follows up on the reports sent in by the team members, analyzes the same and sends appropriate feedback to the team and management.
