The individual will have a good level of autonomy, and will be working within a small, vibrant, talented and diverse team.
To proactively meet and develop relationships with new and existing clients to understand their technical challenges and identify opportunities to support them.
To work as part of our Saudi- and Abu Dhabi-based technical teams, delivering advisory and owner’s engineer roles to a range of power generation, hydrogen, energy storage and decarbonisation projects across the GCC.
To support with all of this, you will:
be involved in the strategic and tactical direction of the business with regard to identifying, developing and managing key opportunities and client accounts
be supported by a range of talented graduates, whom we expect you to coach and mentor
be supported by strong project controls to ensure you can focus your attention on winning and delivering the most exciting energy transition projects in the region
What you can bring:
You’ll have strong interpersonal and communication skills that match your technical skills, in addition to having a sound commercial awareness. You’ll thrive on working outside of your comfort zone on new projects, involving others around you, to ensure the service we give to our clients is beyond their expectations. You’ll have good technical and commercial knowledge in one or more of our key market areas, namely: hydrogen, gas-fired power generation, renewables or waste to energy.
We need you to have:
A strong educational background, including degree in mechanical, process or electrical engineering, or a related similar discipline
At least 6 years’ experience in the energy consulting sector (not necessarily design or EPC)
