About the job Senior Hydrology Engineer (E3-4)
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Conducts hydrologic studies using computer models, and data research/capture following applicable standards and data capture protocols.
- Professional Knowledge in
- Regulatory Codes
- Standard Design
- Design Coordination standards
- Have a deep experience in fluid mechanics dealing with the collection, storage, control, transport, regulation, measurement, and use of water.
- Perform Quality assurance checks of models, graphics, and reports.
- Review studies of existing flood control projects to assess their efficiency or safety risks.
- Coordinate activities with the project team, engineers, and GIS Specialists.
- Proficient in CAD applications and a variety of relevant Hydrology software and Applications.
- Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures within Hill International and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent and worked in Mega Projects
- At least 17+ years of experience in a construction management/supervision role.
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Experience working on Infrastructure projects is a must.
