Senior Manager (Commercial)-Yacht

Yachting Ecosystem is dedicated to fostering a thriving yachting sector within the company. Company is launching two primary business lines: i) Bunkering (Yacht refueling) and ii) Yacht repair and maintenance. To effectively manage commercial and financial aspects of these operations and ensure compliance with internal and statutory requirements, Company seeks a skilled GM or Senior Manager.

 Years of Experience: 7-10 years

Professional Experience:

·         Extensive experience in financial management and control within commercial operations, demonstrating a successful track record in developing and executing financial strategies.

·         Proficiency in managing day to day financial and accounting needs of an ongoing business

·         Proficiency in creating and managing the budget and getting necessary approvals for the same

·         Proven ability to engage with stakeholders across various organizational levels, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

·         Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and procurement practices.

·         While prior experience in the yachting industry is advantageous, experience in shipping, particularly in managing bunkering operations, is also highly relevant.

Scope of Work:

·         Oversight of the day-to-day financial operations of Companies commercial activities, encompassing Bunkering and Yacht repair and maintenance.

·         Monitoring service levels and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in operator contracts, providing actionable insights based on performance assessments, especially from a financial perspective

·         Create, follow-up and get approvals on budgets

·         Manage the accruals, accounts payables and receivables, flag any issues in advance and solve for them

·         Preparation of annual budgets, analysis of expenditure variances, and initiation of corrective actions.

·         Management of inventory data and analysis, especially accounting for the losses, develop rationale and support central accounting functions in their statutory requirements.

·         Contribution of financial insights and recommendations to strategic planning processes.

·         Ensure that the Yachting Ecosystem’s business lines are compliant with central finance and accounting policies

·         Ensure timely adherence to statutory financial requirements (monthly reporting)

·         Proactive problem identification and resolution within financial operations.

·         On-site presence at company sites.

·         Rolling engagement with monthly remuneration.
