The project: 


This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. 


Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

  • Formulate and lead the implementation of the Procurement department strategy to support the achievement of project strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development and oversee the implementation of Procurement department policies, processes, procedures and controls.
  • Develop Procurement department budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives in collaboration with the Finance division.
  • Manage coordination with the various departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure development of a procurement plan accordingly to answer desired needs and requirements.
  • Ensure regular update and review of the procurement plan based on the rising priorities and business needs of concerned function heads in coordination with concerned stakeholders.
  • Manage the development of different sourcing strategies required to procure quality and cost-effective services, materials and projects in support of project business and identify appropriate purchasing method accordingly (i.e.single sourcing, competitive bidding).
  • Manage negotiations with suppliers and vendors for the optimization of materials/services and the minimization of risks and ensure adoption of approved contracts’ terms and conditions when bidding a contract and recommend changes as needed.
  • Manage the compilation of qualified vendor/supplier lists and ensure regular updating based on performance evaluation.
  • Ensure development and update of contract templates in coordination with Legal Department, forms and related documentation as and when needed.
  • Provide support with change order requests through review and amendment of contracts as needed and in alignment with project policies.
  • Manage the achievement of departmental objectives through effective leadership by setting individual objectives, managing performance and developing the team to maximize performance.
  • Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate and challenge teams providing opportunities for growth and development within the Procurement department.

  • You will support the Operations Director and other senior stakeholders to directly influence long term development of strategy for a function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.

You’ll need to have:


  • Master’s degree in finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.


  • Professional Certifications (if required).


  • Extensive years of experience.


  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.

You’ll also have:


  • CIPS Qualified (or equivalent).


  • Microsoft Office Tools.


  • Negotiation Skills.


  • Commercial Acumen.
