The Purpose of the Role


As a Service Manager here at Honeywell UOP, based in Dhahran, KSA, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing service operations to cover our customers in Pakistan and Oman. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving operational excellence. Your leadership skills, technical expertise, and ability to drive results will be essential in achieving business objectives.
You will report directly to our Sr Service Manager covering MENA Region and you will work out of our Dhahran, KSA location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our service operations in Pakistan and Oman. You will be responsible for managing service delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to effectively manage resources, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement will be crucial in delivering exceptional service to our customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee service operations to cover customers in Pakistan and Oman
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to customers
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build strong relationships with each customer’s personnel across several levels of the organization
  • Become knowledgeable of each customers’ refinery/plant configuration, processing goals and strategies
  • Oversee all customer service interactions with UOP and ensure necessary agreements are in place.
  • Visit customers’ sites regularly for in-depth discussions and consultation on current operations, process performance, and any other issues relating to UOP technology transfer. Proactively engage customers to obtain and/or review operating data to enable value added technical support
  • Manage the troubleshooting efforts for the assigned customer base with the help of UOP’s Technical Service and other relevant departments’ personnel as necessary to ensure that timely, accurate and effective support is provided to maintain overall customer satisfaction
  • Support new unit start-up and catalyst/adsorbent reload activities, determine and coordinate work scope and schedule for UOP site-support
  • Determine how UOP products and services might be applied to meet customers' goals (processing or competency of their workforce)
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate and support Sales business to meet service financial targets by developing specific strategies to target, win and retain future business, as well as prospecting for new business opportunities
  • Drive operational excellence and adherence to quality standards
  • Manage financial performance and budgeting for service operations
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the refining, petrochemical, or gas processing industries within a technical role, with some exposure to direct sales.
  • Candidates with strong exposure to Hydro processing and Reforming technologies would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of UOP process technologies and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
