Our client is a distinguished Retail & Distribution company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its team in Riyadh.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply chain department.
- Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and supply chain transactions.
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes without compromising quality or service.
- Proactively identify and address issues that may arise, such as delays in delivery or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Ensure that supply chain processes comply with all legal requirements and industry standards.
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure more profitable deals.
- Demonstrate the ability to register products on platforms such as Saber and SFDA to legalize the import of products into the Saudi market.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in product registrations.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the retail and distribution industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with Saudi product registration platforms (Saber, SFDA).
