Head of Sustainability and or Manager/Team Leader

Roles and Responsibilities:



Carry out energy modelling services using IES VE, Design Builder, eQUEST; Carry out daylighting / thermal comfort modelling; Member of Sustainability team; Provides clients with energy conservation measures and solutions to meet their targets Familiar with Net - Zero standards Chair and conduct sustainability related site-audits Participate as a team leader in carrying out specific global and local projects such as sustainable building projects, operational efficiency, etc.; Quality control and review of reports; Business Development Support; Support the company in its rapid growth plans; Site and Office Based Consultancy; Coordinate with/support contractors including MEP/Civil engineers; Conduct product and technology research related to sustainability; Personal development and plan to develop skills necessary for promotion and growth within the company

HSE Roles, Responsibilities and Accountability:



In addition to your responsibility towards following ALPIN’s Integrated Management System, every employee at ALPIN is required to familiarize themselves with ALPIN’s Environmental Policy and contribute towards minimizing their individual environmental impact in the course of their work. It is the duty of all employees to act within the legal responsibilities imposed upon them and the Company’s Quality, Environment and Health & Safety policies. All employees must familiarize themselves with the Company’s Integrated Management System’s policies and procedures

Skills & Other Requirements:



Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with both clients and consultants; Background within the built environment sector (3-6 years); Working Knowledge of MEP, Construction Management and Design; Strong Knowledge of current sustainability standards: LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, QSAS, or Estidama; At least 3 years’ experience of energy modelling using IES (preferable also with experience using other software packages) LEED AP / Estidama PQP / BREEAM AP / GSAS CGP preferred; Fluent written & spoken English; Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline (Environmental, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering (PREFERRED), Electrical Engineering (PREFERRED), or Architecture); GCC experience; Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment; Strong communication skills (Written, electronic & spoken)

The consent of the data subject



The User consents to the processing of its personal data with the purpose of Controller’s handling recruiting. The User consents that personal data is collected through the Service, when Users;
make an application through the Service, adding personal data about themselves either personally or by using a third-party source as Facebook or LinkedIn, and that Controller may use external sourcing-tools to add additional information; and when they use the Service to connect to Controller’s recruitment department, adding personal data about themselves either personally or by using a third-party source such as Facebook or LinkedIn.
The User also consents to the Controller collecting publically available information about the User and compiles them for use in recruitment purposes.
The User consents to the personal data being collected in accordance with the above a) and b) will be processed according to the below sections Storage and transfer and How long the personal data will be processed.
