Role Purpose
Lead and oversee a team of system analysts to ensure the efficient design, implementation, and maintenance of dashboards, reporting and systems analysis that meet the organization's objectives and drive operational excellence.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Accountabilities & Activities
- Lead a team of system analysts in assessing business needs, defining system requirements, and designing effective solutions to meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify opportunities for system improvement, and develop technology roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.
- Manage the full lifecycle of system analysis projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing systems, identifying areas for optimization, automation, and integration with emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and technical documentation, to ensure clarity and consistency in system design and implementation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation and selection of technology solutions, including software applications, platforms, and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in system analysis, design, and implementation, with a minimum of [X] years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture principles, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in system analysis tools and techniques, such as data modelling, process mapping, and requirements elicitation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion.
- Ability to think strategically, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or the right minimum years of experience otherwise.
