Technical Service Engineer

Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic Contribution:

• Long-term development projects for targeted customer and market needs.
  
• Positioning Ingenia as a technology leader in the industry.
  

Budgeting, Time & Cost Control:

• Manage internal resources effectively.
  

Customer Relationship Management:

• Define customer needs with commercial managers and salespeople.
  
• Conduct customer trials and prepare regulatory and technical documents.
  
• Develop new products based on market requirements.
  

Testing of Raw Materials and Finished Products:

• Conduct testing on raw materials and finished goods using various testing equipment.
  

Communications & Working Relationships:

Internal:

• Communicate with master batch salespeople and operations team.
  
• Provide feedback to manufacturing plant and QC/QA personnel.
  

External:

• Communicate with raw material suppliers and customers.
  
• Represent the company at industry trade conferences and events.
  

Frameworks, Boundaries, & Decision-Making Authority:

• Freedom given to manage day-to-day activities and prioritize efforts. 
  
• Source and recommend new suppliers, materials, and research efforts.
  

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Polymer Engineering.
  
• Knowledge of thermoplastic processing technologies and additives.
  

Minimum Experience:

• 7 - 15 years progressive experience in polymer processing or production industry.
  
• Experience managing relations with suppliers and customers.
  

Job-Specific Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of polymer science and engineering.
  
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Tagalog is an asset.
  
• Working knowledge of analytical testing techniques.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
