Technician III, Maintenance Electrical Job

Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM), is a private company operating within the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals.

An exciting opportunity is available for Technician, Maintenance Electrical Based in Yanbu and will report directly toSuperintendent, Maintenance Electrical.

About the role:

Responsible for maintenance, service and repair of plant and equipment on a twenty-four hour/day continuously operated process plant to ensure safe, efficient, and effective plant operations.

You will be responsible to:

• Safely and efficiently maintain, service and repair plant equipment in accordance with procedures and operating instructions.
• Minimise downtime by accurate fault finding, investigating, and determining repair actions.
• Complete any documentation/reports as required.
• Isolate plant and equipment to their level of authorization for maintenance purposes.
• Undertake and successfully complete training and development activities. Provide on-the-job training for other Maintenance, personnel as required.
• Participate in team projects. Identify and share continuous improvement ideas that may enhance maintenance, safety, process, and cost reduction.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping. Display safe working practices in the performance of all duties and identify, correct, and report hazardous situations.
• Be available for call-outs as required.
• Be available for working additional hours as required.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Technical Safety

1. Abides by company HSE rules and precautions. Identifies equipment location and its related hazard areas. Describes personal protective equipment (PPE) used during construction, maintenance, and operation.
2. Describes work permit types and usage during inspection and maintenance activities. States precautions when handling hazardous materials, including technology selection, design and operation of process and utility equipment. Demonstrates hazards and use of safety factors during design. Demonstrates methods of keeping control devices and equipment.
3. Explains duties during emergency situations. Predicts safety risks such as injuries, spills, unsafe acts and conditions, near misses and incidents.
4. Illustrates safety risks within the concerned process, utility, design, development and laboratory work. Lists the different safety devices utilized in process and utility equipment. Identifies hazard areas during layout design. Interprets process and utility PFDs and P and IDs.

• Electrical Maintenance and Repair

1. Completes all required electrical authorizations for site Electrical Competence Management system.
2. Uses electrical and non-electrical tools safely and effectively.
3. Tests faulty components and undertakes electrical repairs of a routine nature with occasional advice and assistance.
4. Diagnoses basic electrical faults and isolates faulty components, by adhering to standard troubleshooting/testing procedures.
5. Interprets drawings, diagrams, algorithms, and schematics on electrical circuits.

• Troubleshooting Technical Problems

1. Troubleshoots typical technical problems.
2. Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools, and utilities.
3. Describes common hardware, software and communications problems and likely resolutions.
4. Cites specific technical problems and describes processes and tools used to resolve.
5. Documents problems, actions, and resolutions.

• Standard Operating Procedures

1. Identifies key features and functions of standard operating procedures.
2. Explains usage of standard operating procedures in business operations.
3. Describes main issues and considerations when using standard operating procedures.
4. Compiles current research relevant to standard operating procedures.

Minimum Qualification:

Diploma degree in electrical.

Minimum Experience:

• 2 years of experience or more in manufacturing environment.
