Tendering Manager - Pump Manufacturing / Oil and Gas - Saudi Arabia

They specialize in energy-efficient technologies such as pumping, mixing, and separation, tailored specifically for the industry.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the tender process, ensuring compliance with commercial guidelines and securing necessary approvals.
- Mentor and manage the tendering team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively across teams, demonstrating a proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to make swift decisions.
- Champion process enhancements, adopting LEAN principles to streamline responses to customer inquiries.
- Calculate profit margins for SPME tenders, leveraging costs from the company entities or external suppliers.
- Oversee the review and distribution of inquiry documents/specifications, ensuring high-quality quotations are prepared on time.
- Coordinate with various departments to align Sales Plan objectives and develop competitive bidding strategies.
- Develop strategies for market penetration and customer targeting.
- Implement client relationship management processes, including feedback mechanisms, to establish the company as a preferred supplier.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
We Are Looking For:
- Proven expertise in technical knowledge and strategic sales planning.
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in tendering and sales , with a track record of team management.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in financial and budget management.
- Familiarity with the Middle East market is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results, dedication to customer service, and the ability to inspire and lead teams.
- Strategic thinker with a global perspective, able to handle ambiguity and make decisive choices.
- Awareness of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer strategies.
- Responsibility for ensuring smooth transitions from pre- to post-order phases through effective handover meetings and documentation.
- Participation in monthly sales meetings and bi-weekly updates for full visibility of the sales pipeline.
- Engagement in and support of company-wide initiatives.
