Trade Marketing Specialist 

Overall, Purpose

Responsible for driving brand excellence at point of sale to improve the sales performance while focusing on distribution, merchandising and sales promotions.

The trade marketing specialist shall implement key branding initiatives and analyze competitive activities, display status and sell-out figures.

Reporting to

Optical Marketing Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Driving brand excellence at point of sale to improve sell-out.
• Implementing key branding activities to enhance in-store brand presence, visibility and performance.
• Suggesting and executing trade promotional plans
• Optimizing success rate of promotions and brand perception (footfall, sell-out, loyalty programs)
• Responsibilities will include Contact lenses & eyewear business.
• Monitoring competitor activities, prices, current promotions, and evaluating visibility & market coverage of our products through regular market visits.
• Monitoring store stock movement, suggesting promotions or trade deals on slow-moving or near expiry products.
• Taking part in product launch (giving presentation to sales team on new products.
• Following up with sales/product manager in order to achieve estimated sales on trade deals.
• Attending customer complaints and following up with the concern on solutions.
• Tracking down the sell-out data by SKU, product line and store. 
• Contributing & executing marketing plans & projects.

Minimum Experience Profile:

• 5 years of experience in trade marketing with preferably 3-4 years in Optical & multi retail environment.

Minimum Qualification Profile:

•  Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration or another relevant field.
